...to contribute to the future of noise and vibration management and control
INVC is -
- an award-winning engineering consultancy
- at the cutting edge for noise and vibration control
- the arbiter of best practicable means in noise control across the planet
- an organisation with a reputation for innovation
- the major provider of noise and vibration training in the UK
Whereas most organisations just measure noise and vibration problems, and also just measure noise and vibration problems, our reputation is based on actually solving those problems using innovative solutions. We have developed an increasingly wide range of unique, innovative, and incredibly cost-effective techniques and technologies that we provide to the global market.
We are looking for exceptional experienced engineers (or potentially graduates) to help us develop and apply the noise and vibration management and control solutions of the future.
What are we are looking for?
Talented engineers to join our team of consultants, ideally with:-
- a background in mechanical engineering and acoustics/vibration
- good computer and online skills (e.g. noise calculations, CAD, noise modeling experience etc)
- presentation skills would be an advantage
- the ability and appetite to learn very quickly…
Practical engineering abilities are at a premium. We are not looking for candidates who can only measure - measurement is only the first (and simplest) step...
What are the opportunities?
Our core business areas are:-
- occupational noise risk assessment and control
- environmental noise assessment prediction and control
- hand-arm vibration assessment and control
- training courses in both noise and HAVS
- vibration analysis and control
New personnel would have the opportunity to contribute in one, some, or all of these areas, depending on personal inclination and skill-set.
A successful candidate would be supported in managing their own projects, clients and schedules and in developing and using our technologies and expertise.
What do we offer?
- considerable job satisfaction by contributing to a team that is making a substantial global contribution to a more peaceful and less deafening world and to reducing the debilitating effects of vibration
- opportunities to develop technical skills, to innovate, and to learn from an unparalleled pool of expertise and experience
- substantial personal benefits associated with very flexible working conditions
- the opportunity to influence the direction and growth of the business.
The financial rewards are commensurate with experience with significant bonus payments.
